松風の涼しい木かげ。人は昼餉をつかい、馬は草を食む。旅の道ばたで、人も馬も同じ風に吹かれて同じように食べている。生きるものはみな食べる、そのあたりまえがすがすがしい。In the cool shade beneath the wind through the pines, a man takes his midday meal and a horse crops the grass. At the roadside on the journey, man and horse alike are blown by the same wind and eat in the same way. Everything that lives must eat, and the plainness of that is bracing.
