雨の中、びっしょり濡れて代掻きをする馬が、主に叱られてばかりいる。懸命に働いても叱られる馬の姿に、通りすがりの旅人の目が長くとどまる。田植えまえの、泥と雨の労働の景。In the rain, soaked through, a horse harrowing the flooded paddy for planting is scolded by its master again and again. On the sight of a horse scolded however hard it works, the passing traveler's eye rests a long while. A scene of mud and rain, the labor before the rice is set.
