ぶらりとさがつて雪ふる蓑虫dangling there in the falling snow a bagworm

枝からぶらりと下がった蓑虫に、雪が降りかかる。蓑を着ているとはいえ、寒空にひとつぶら下がったままの姿は心もとない。じっと動かない小さなものへ、雪はわけへだてなく降る。Snow falls on a bagworm that hangs loosely from a branch. Clad in its case though it is, a single thing left dangling in the cold sky looks forlorn. Upon the small, motionless creature, the snow falls without distinction.
