落葉を踏んでやってくる足音がする。姿は見えなくても、その足音は知っている――樹明君だ。足音だけで誰か分かる間柄。訪ねてくれる友を待つ耳の、うれしい確信である。There come footsteps treading through the fallen leaves. Though he cannot see who it is, he knows those footsteps — it is Jumei. To know a person by his footfall alone is that kind of closeness. The glad certainty of an ear that waits for a friend to visit.
