霞の中に、山が幾重にもかさなって見える。あのかすんだ山なみの向こうが、ふるさと。近づくでもなく、遠くから眺めるだけの故郷が、春の霞のやわらかさに包まれている。In the haze the mountains appear layered fold upon fold. Beyond that hazed range lies his home village. Not drawing near, only gazed at from afar, his native place is wrapped in the softness of the spring haze.
