飲んでも酔えなくなった。そのみじめさに寄り添うように、こおろぎが鳴く。酒でごまかせない夜は、虫の声がいやに耳へ入ってくる。He drinks now but can no longer get drunk. As if to keep company with that misery, a cricket cries. On a night he cannot blur with sake, the insect's voice enters the ear all too plainly.
