病みほうけて信濃の旅から庵に戻れば、草も木も茂って迎えてくれた。生きて戻ったことと、茂っていることが、同じひとつの喜びとして目に映る。Returning to the hut worn out with illness from his journey in Shinano, he finds the grasses and trees grown thick to welcome him. That he has come back alive, and that they are flourishing, meet his eye as one and the same joy.
