友の樹明君が、裏の道から訪ねて来てくれた。着物は草の実だらけ。藪をこいで来た証拠のその実が、何よりの土産のように嬉しい。His friend Jumei came to visit by the back path. His robe was covered in grass burrs. Proof that he had pushed through the thickets to get here — those burrs feel like the finest gift of all.
