名古屋の俳友たちへの別れの句。もう逢うことはありますまい。木の芽どきの曇り空が、その予感をやわらかく包む。晩年の旅の別れは、いつも今生の別れの色を帯びていた。A parting poem for his haiku friends in Nagoya. We will surely never meet again. The overcast sky of the budding season softly enfolds that foreboding. In his late years, the partings of the road always took on the color of a farewell for this life.
