瀬戸内の生野島での句。冬の日ざしはやわらかく、草はすっかり枯れている。枯れることと、あたたかいこと。ふたつが矛盾なく並んでいる島の午後を、そのまま言い切った。A poem from Ikuno-jima in the Seto Inland Sea. The winter sunlight is gentle, and the grass has withered completely.
