門司埠頭での句。出港の船と岸をつなぐ紙テープが、春の潮の上でちぎれた。それでもまだ手をふりつづける人たち。別れの形が切れたあとも、別れの心は続いている。A poem at Moji wharf. The paper streamers joining the departing ship to the shore snap above the spring tide. Even so, people go on waving their hands. After the form of the parting has broken, the heart of the parting continues.
