鶲がまた一羽になって、しきりに啼いている。連れのいなくなった鳥の声は、いちだんと繁くなる。その声の変化を聞き分けているのは、同じくひとりで暮らす者の耳である。The flycatcher, alone once more, cries incessantly. The voice of a bird whose companion is gone grows only busier. It is the ear of a man who likewise lives alone that can tell the change in that voice.
