春の山道を、小石がころころと転がってくる。「ころころ」と「石ころ」の音の重なりが、そのまま山の軽やかさになっている。深い意味はない、ただ楽しい。冬のあいだ張りつめていた山が、ゆるんで動きだした気配まで聞こえてくる。Down the spring mountain path little stones come rolling, korokoro. The echo between "rolling" and "pebble" becomes, in itself, the lightness of the mountain. There is no deep meaning — only delight. You can even hear the mountain, tensed all winter, loosening and beginning to move.
