「樹明君に」と前書きのある句。あんたがそろそろ来てくれそうだ、という時分に、風鈴が鳴る。鈴の音がそのまま、待つ心のはずみになっている。「あんた」という呼び方の近さがあたたかい。A poem headed "for Jumei." Just about the time you seem likely to come at last, the wind-chime rings. Its sound becomes the very lift of a waiting heart. The nearness of the familiar "you" (anta) is warm.
