「十一月、湯田の風来居に移る」と前書がある。新しい住まいに、一羽の鳥が来て、啼かないままそこにいる。もの言わぬ来客と、黙って向き合っている。Headed "In the eleventh month I move to the Fūrai-kyo at Yuda." To the new dwelling a single bird comes, and stays there without singing. He faces his silent visitor in silence.
