日照りで、どこにも水がない。涸れた田で、人びとは汗を流して働いている。田は乾ききって、人の体だけが水を出している。旱の夏の苛烈さ。The drought has left no water anywhere. In the withered fields the people work, pouring out sweat. The paddies are parched dry, and only the human body still gives up water. The harshness of a summer of drought.
