ちらほらと雪が舞いはじめた。こんな日は誰か来そうな気がする。来るあてはないのだが、雪にはそういう予感めいたところがある。待つともなく待つ。Snow has begun to drift down here and there. On a day like this he feels someone might come. There is no one to expect, yet snow has that touch of foreboding about it. He waits without quite waiting.
