夕方、草を渡る風が出てきた。水に沈めた豆腐も、そろそろ冷えただろう。風と豆腐で夕餉の支度が整う。暑い一日の終わりの、ささやかな楽しみ。Toward evening, a breeze begins to move across the grass. The tofu, sunk to keep in the water, should be chilled by now. With the wind and the tofu, supper is quietly ready — a small pleasure at the close of a hot day.
