へちまの水をとりながら、ふと思う。これを誰にあげよう。咳によいという水も、あげる相手がいてこそ。手は動きながら、心は人を探している。As he draws off the loofah's sap, a thought strikes him: who should I give this to? The water, said to ease a cough, only matters if there is someone to give it to. His hands keep working while his heart looks for a person.
