鴉が啼けば来客の知らせ、という言いならわしがある。けれど鴉が啼いたところで、この庵には誰も来てはくれない。俗信を持ち出しては打ち消す、そのひと手間に独居の寂しさがにじむ。There is a saying that a crow's cawing announces a visitor.
