つながれた山羊がかなしげな声で啼き、まわりの草は青々としている。かなしげなのは山羊か、そう聞く人間の耳か。青い草の明るさが、かえって啼き声を際立たせる。A tethered goat bleats in a sad voice, and the grass around it is deep green. Is it the goat that is sad, or the human ear that hears it so? The brightness of the green grass only sets the bleating off more sharply.
