解説Notes

深まった秋の、よく澄んだ水をもらって庵へもどる。もらったものは水だけ。それでも「秋ふかい水」と言われると、季節をまるごと汲んで帰るように聞こえる。In the deepened autumn, he is given some clear water and returns to the hut. All he received was water. And yet, called "deep-autumn water," it sounds as though he draws the whole season home along with it.
