ふるさとに帰ってきた夜、蛍に「こいこい」と呼びかける。子どものころに歌った蛍呼びの文句が、そのまま口をついて出る。故郷とは、遠い昔の言葉づかいが自然によみがえる場所でもある。On the night he returns to his home village, he calls to the fireflies, "come, come."
