いつとなくさくらが咲いて逢うてはわかれるsomewhere along the way the cherries bloomed — we meet and we part

気がつけば桜が咲いていて、旅の途中では人と逢ってはまた別れる。咲いてはやがて散る桜と、結ばれてはほどける人の縁。どちらも引きとめず、流れるままに詠まれている。Before he noticed, the cherries were in bloom, and along the road he meets people and parts from them again. Cherries that flower and soon scatter, ties that form and come undone. Neither is held back; both are set down just as they flow.
