明日は帰ろう、と心を決めた旅先で、桜が散っている。見ているこちらの上にも散ってくる。「ちるちつてくる」の畳みかけに、帰心と名残り惜しさがひとつになって降りしきる。At a place far from home where he has resolved to leave tomorrow, cherry blossoms are scattering. They fall even upon him as he watches. In the piled-up phrase 'falling, falling down,' the wish to go home and the reluctance to leave come down together as one.
