甲斐と信濃の国境あたり、歩くうちに日が暮れた。のどをうるおす山の水のうまいこと。宿はまだ決まらないのに、感嘆はまず水に向かう。疲れた体がいちばん正直である。Around the border of Kai and Shinano, night fell as he walked. How good the mountain water is that wets his throat. Lodging is still not settled, yet his wonder goes first to the water. A tired body is the most honest of all.
