荒海に向かって脚を投げ出して座り、歩いてきた道と、これから行く道を思う。あとさきを思案しても答えは出ない。投げ出した脚の先で、海は勝手に荒れている。Sitting with his legs flung out toward the wild sea, he thinks of the road he has walked and the road still to come. Weighing the before and after yields no answer. Beyond his outstretched legs, the sea rages on as it pleases.
