「風の中を」ではなく「風を」歩いてきた、という言い方に、風と身体が溶け合った一日がある。夕暮れの述懐の句だが、朝に聞けば「今日もこんな一日を歩こう」という予感に変わる。Not "walked through the wind" but "walked the wind" — the phrasing holds a whole day in which wind and body dissolved into each other. It is a poem of evening reflection, but heard in the morning it turns into a promise: "today too, let me walk a day like this."
