旅の夕暮れ、電信柱につくつくぼうしが止まって鳴いている。木ではなく電信棒という即物的なものに、蝉の声と夕かげが宿る。歩く者の目がとらえた、道ばたの秋のはじまり。In the evening of the journey, a tsukutsukubōshi cicada has landed on a telegraph pole and is singing. Not a tree but that matter-of-fact telegraph pole holds the cicada's voice and the evening light. The beginning of roadside autumn, caught by a walker's eye.
