道ばたにひょいと芋が落ちていた。拾って、今夜は芋粥にする。誰かの取りこぼしが、そのまま今日の糧になる。「ので」のあっけらかんとした理屈が愉快である。A taro root just happened to be lying by the roadside. He picks it up, and tonight it will be taro gruel. Someone's dropped scrap becomes today's food, just like that. The breezy logic of "so I make" is delightful.
