何を思うというのでもなく、ぼんやりと座っている。その間にも柿の葉はしきりに落ちつづける。考えごとの中身は空っぽで、落葉の音だけが時間の経過をしらせる。Not thinking of anything in particular, he sits vacantly. All the while the persimmon leaves keep steadily falling. The mind is empty of thought, and only the sound of falling leaves marks the passing of time.
